Morgan is a New York based actor and singer originally from Indianapolis, Indiana – the place everyone makes fun of in sitcoms. Morgan started performing in her basement at 3-years-old, copying Shirley Temple’s every move on her sing-along VHS (she still sings “Animal Crackers In My Soup” on a regular basis). After watching the filmed versions of every Andrew Lloyd Webber musical an innumerable amount of times and being raised on the likes of Schwartz, Sondheim, and Bernstein, Morgan finally auditioned for her first community theatre production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”. Having worked on that children’s chorus choreo day-in and day-out, she was officially bitten by the bug at 7-years-old. From that point on, working as a performer in New York City remained the dream.
Now a graduate of Otterbein University’s BFA Musical Theatre program, Morgan is new a resident of NYC.
Favorite credits include SISTER ACT (Deloris Van Cartier), THE COLOR PURPLE – REGIONAL PREMIERE (Church Lady/Celie u/s), and RENT (Joanne Jefferson).
Morgan has a spiritual relationship with white chocolate mochas, cookie dough ice cream, and Chipotle and refuses to give up any of these things in order to have a frugal lifestyle in NYC.
